Many people who had supported Jamaat, even in lockdown, where it is allegedly said that COVID-19 will not affect people coming here, have started criticizing Modi after he asked for to light up for a few minutes on a particular time and day.
They argue that Modi is spreading blind faith as lighting up will kill coronavirus. When did Modi say so? Of course, coronavirus is a medical issue.
I feel pity for their double standards; either they are a fool or showing cunningness. It's the poison of hatred for Modi rooted in their mind.
Lighting up is to feel a sense of inspiration and motivation in a situation when everyone is locked down. It's just as an army play patriotic songs and drum, knowing that a song and drum will not defeat an enemy. But it gives a boost to fight.
We may have a disagreement with Modi on several issues, but in the current situation, we must show solidarity and follow guidelines.
